Private Chapel Bookings

At the heart of Elmwood Cemetery is the beautiful Armour Memorial Chapel. Built in 1902 it was the gift of Annie Payne Hearne Armour Littlefield as a memorial to her first husband, Kirkland Brooks Armour. The architect for the chapel was George A. Mathews (1860-1903) The chapel features native stone and Gothic architecture. The furniture and woodwork are solid oak and beautifully carved. The side windows are of art glass, while in the north wall is a beautiful three-panel window of stained glass. This window, added in the 1920s, is a memorial to Mrs. Armour.

Whether it be for a funeral, wedding, baptism or other event, Armour Chapel is available for your private event.
